Spring Awakening :)

Well, we don't seem to blog as often as I thought we might when I set this up, but that is probably because life seems to move a little more slowly than I sometimes anticipate that it will. We moved out of our apartment about a week ago...which was quite a big job. I have a love/hate relationship with moving. I love the fact that it ends up being something of an impromptu yet huge episode of spring cleaning....this time we did pretty well weeding through our belongings and prudently disposing of unneeded items...and I hate what a big, seemingly endless job it feels like at the time. But anyway, we accomplished the feat of moving, but unfortunately were compelled to move our belongings into a storage unit as our next place of residence wasn't ready for us.
And...that's where we are still. My parents were gracious enough to invite us to stay with them while we wait for the house we are hoping to rent to become available to us. Anyway. We are quite excited to set up house when we get a chance, but meanwhile Dan is working on setting up his business on this side of the state while I am waiting to hear back from some potential jobs that hopefully won't be too difficult to get to. All in all, even though it is frustrating that things are moving rather slowly, I am really enjoying the beautiful weather and being around my family....and my sweet darling dog Annie! She and I have been delighting in one another's company :) I feel like Dan and I have had the chance to get much more exercise and sun exposure than we usually got the chance to get in Grand Rapids...that could be either me constantly angling to take Annie for a walk or a frolic in the backyard or a bike ride with my little sibs...or it could just be that the weather is warming up and my cabin fever would be bursting wide open wherever we were.
