Greetings!
First blog post from the home of Dan and Angie to yousomes :)
Trapped as we are in the Gray Hole that is February, we two hobbits are dealing as best we can by staying snug in our sweet little home-to-only-a-few-dangerous-psychotics apartment. I (I being Angie...the one who will most likely be typing most blogs and therefore refuses to bother with third person. You will be notified at the beginning of an entry when Daniel deigns to deliver a dialogue. Ahem. Slowly stepping away from dangerously alliterative and languorously long parenthetical.) baked bread today, to Dan's delight and endless praise (I think I shall never progress as a cook if Dan continues his "raptures of delight" facade over everything I make. Drat...I've wandered into another parenthetical.) I also lost a battle with myself and baked brownies...there are times when one can never have too much warm fresh bread and chocolate and that time is now, I told myself. Dan did not argue.
Actually, I am the one staying snug in the apartment, as poor Dan is off to brave the snowy roads every day; I am, unfortunately, currently employed only by myself as housekeeper and cook, and let me tell you, rewarding as that may be, I do not pay well. Dan's job is keeping him pretty busy at the moment, and he is working hard for our future, so I just pray that I can give him the support that he deserves everyday.
Anyway, all that remains to be said for this first blog posting, is that We Miss Ireland.

LOL...you can definitely never have too much fresh baked bread or brownies...you're making my mouth water, I wish I was closer, I'd come and steal a piece! :-)
Dan shared your blog with me just this afternoon. I saw Mom reading it this AM.
I agree with Liz's comment, although I am now fighting the weight battle since I am not lugging Staple paper and furniture every day. Sorry to hear you are having the illness that so many seem to be getting this winter.
Love Dad D ( DaddY )
