Wow, it's been awhile since we've posted anything...I really haven't been online too much in the past month-ish, but now that we've finally moved maybe that will change.
So, yes...we've moved! We are both very excited about the house we're renting, and hopefully I'll be able to post some pictures at some point. We aren't sure how long we'll be there, but are hoping it will be for awhile. The house really has a lot of character...it is pretty old we think, so it is rather loud and creaky....our first night there had me kind of nervous, waking up now and then to strange sounds that the house makes that I am just getting used to now. We don't really have enough furniture to fill up the house, as we're coming from a tight one bedroom apartment, but it is kind of nice...makes us look rather minimalist for a change :)
This past month has been kind of stressful, looking for jobs and whatnot. That's been slow going, but I have finally gotten some bites, so we'll see where that goes very soon hopefully...had two interviews today that went well.
We've had a couple of fun events to lighten the stress...at the beginning of the month Marissa and I were in a fashion show in Frankenmuth that was held by a vintage shop. The show was to promote the shop and as a charity event to raise money for a family in the area that needed it. That was actually a lot of fun, but kind of scary...it was a bit more of a full on "fashion show" than I'd expected...with a runway of sorts, quick-changes, and several professional models participating. Absolutely nothing I ever thought I'd do before, but the dresses were gorgeous and a lot of fun to wear, and we actually had a lot of fun doing it. We splurged at taco-bell at the end of the night, Marissa and I pretending we'd been starving ourselves to fit into our gowns...ha.
The weekend before last Dan and I went to Cat and Kyle's wedding :) We went the night before (since I was in the wedding) to go to the rehearsal and help out a bit...that was really fun, it was great for us to hang out with friends we rarely see. I was so happy for them!! *tear* :)
Other than job-hunting, Dan has been busy with sword-projects. He works very hard at them and I can tell he loves doing it. It has been nice for him to have the space to do it (at my parents' and now at our house), and definitely good to have the side-income while we wait for those job offers to start rolling in :)
Well, I'm out of steam and that's probably it for now anyway. I'll try to update more regularly from now on, for you faithful readers...if you exist! :)

Glad to hear you're getting settled in and back to "normal".
Looking forward to seeing pictures when you get them. :-)
